Yay, I am so happy -- this is my first post on, "What's In Season," from my new home just outside Seattle in the PNW/Pacific Northwest!
First. I want to say that Seattle is an unbelievably beautiful city. I have been busy scoping out all the cool Cafés and Farmers Markets. We are currently living 15 minutes from downtown Seattle, so trips over to the city are almost a daily occurrence. We have also been touring nearby towns (Edmonds is my ♥ fav so far) as we learn to navigate this corner of the world.
This has been a big move for us and hard on all the family and friends we left back in Northern California -- but has also been filled with many wonderful surprises. It has felt a bit like being a pioneer, packing up everything we own into a covered wagon (in reality a PODS container - lol) and moving off to a place sight unseen (except by internet). We arrived here just a few days before Christmas and rung in the New Year at the Space Needle instead of the Golden Gate Bridge. We are finally unpacked, settled in and looking forward to as many new adventures as the days will hold.
Happy Seasonal/Local Shopping! ♥
