Hello everyone! Thank you so much for all the emails and comments. I have missed barefoot in the orchard, and all my favorite blogs sooooooo very much!! Unfortunately, I had to abandon my computer and normal life for numerous doctors appointments and tests.
_It all started with dizziness and eventually violent episodes of vertigo that knocked me to the ground. One of these episodes occurred as I was leaving an appointment with my doctor and was in the hospital parking lot. My husband caught me before I hit the pavement and I was promptly taken to the ER - where I spent 6 hours. Since then I've had chest and neck X -rays, and had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours. I've had a Brain MRI (and let me just say - being placed in a tiny tube up to your ankles is no fun - but I'm glad for the technology) and I have also had so much blood drawn I'm surprised there is still enough left over for me. As the days passed and I found myself somewhere new, with some new technician, or specialist, all I ever heard over and over was - "You look like a healthy girl to me." or "Look at those rosy cheeks, you look like you're just fine." This is a bit of a joke in my family, since this has happened to me throughout my life many time before (once even right after I was in a car crash), and I'm sure the day I die (hopefully when I'm a very old lady) - someone will say - "You look just fine today." but back to the point of this post. I am fine (yay!!). More than fine it seems - I am quite healthy! The whole thing is related to a dental issue that was missed at my last exam and is pushing on my middle ear. Over the past few weeks various medical people have been talking about heart problems and brain tumors and who knows what else, and I began to think - heart and brain - I may be in big trouble here! I've had a few difficult weeks, but today I am one grateful, happy, rosy cheeked girl and I'm off to see the dentist.
_Hugs and Kisses To All!!!

_P.S. Tomorrow's post will be "What's In Season" - so check back!!

So glad to hear you are well!
Praise God! I am so glad you are ok! Nothing like a health scare to put everything in perspective. I was just at the Dr. today getting a mammogram and breast ultrasound for a lump I just found. It is all good! Take care sweet one!
Calling my mom right now and of course she she is on the phone to your mom - too funny. Please let me know how the exam goes!! I heard you are going out of the country for vacation soon. I will pop over to Facebook to see what's up.
Lots of love to you Sasha!!

Sabina...I was so scared when I saw those pics. I am so glad the story had a happy ending. You and your family have been through an awful ordeal. Dental? I have a dentist's appt. this afternoon. Hope he doesn't miss anything. Good to know in case this ever happens to me.
Welcome back. Love, Rosemary
I'm happy too - I can't believe I went through so much over something so small but my appreciation for life is soooo much bigger right now!!! It hope this feeling lasts a very long time!!!
Sabinaaaaa! So happy you are back and you are ALL RIGHT! I agree with Rosemary - those pictures scared me too. I'm so sorry you had such a fright :( Funny how the big stuff immediately puts everything else in place. I'm so happy for you and your family. It's so good to see you here again :)
Love,
Megan :)
I am so glad you are back Sabina, and even more glad that you are indeed quite healthy, what a scare though! Looking forward to your posts!!
Sabina - It's so odd that you post this because my sister-in-law went through this same thing last week. The dentist had injected something into her jaw and when she left the office, came down with a very bad case of vertigo.
I've had vertigo and it's a very nasty situation. It's like being drunk without benefit of alcohol.
I'm so glad you're back in action.

Sabina ...
Glad to hear you are OK and back ... sorry to hear you had to go through all of that ... it must have been stressful for you and your family. But sounds like you never abandon your sense of humor.
(PS I am almost finished WOP book. I plan to finish it at the auto service shop today when I have car inspected. I won't tell you how it ends.)
So glad to see you back!
Hi Sabina- I'm so glad to hear that you are OK! Hope all goes well at the dentist and then you can go on to enjoy the summer!!
Oh sabina, i could relate to this so much in fact line to line. i too have gone through a whole bunch of these tests, after fainting three times in one week. all came out negative and i am healthy. i guess the upside of this is that we have had every test and we know we are! but it is amazing where the mind travels!
but that you write it is dental related had me thinking since i did have three dental apointments in a row can it be?
