There is just something about a canopy bed. When my husband and I went on our honeymoon (many moons ago) we stayed in a huge hotel suite in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, with a spectacular view of the snow covered mountains. We were actually upgraded to a much better room, as we could have never afforded such lavish accomodations, at the time. One, of many, amazing amenities in that room was a big beautiful canopy bed. It made our stay all the more magical!!

The epitomy of romantic ... I want one!
As a little girl, I had a canopy bed and it was my own special space! I felt as if it was the magic ship to carry me away to far away lands and protect me when I was fearful. Now as an adult, I find them to be so romantic and lovely - each one of these photos make my yearn for one of my own again!

Loving those canpoy beds. Theyre a world away from the aboration i inherited when buying my house, it was a wierd princess style canopy that had been abused and neglected for many years... i couldnt wait to take it down lol.
