I Love The Idea Of This - As A Form Of Transportation

Sabina - I want one! Acutally, I want the motorized variety, a.k.a. a motorcycle trike. I had to give up my motorcycle years ago but a three-wheeler would be safer for me. I'd like the bike variety also except for the fact that I have nowhere to ride it. I'm 9 miles from anything and they're very dangerous country roads!
Looks whimsical. Although I'm a bit skeptical about maneuvering it about the street or sidewalk. I imagine angry pedestrians, peeved motorists and lots of dog chasing. Are those high heels heels?
Is she in New York? I had a hard enough time walking down the street when I lived there. I can't imagine attempting this. I guess everyone gets outta the way when they see you coming. Cute photo.

♥ ♥ Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting -- barefoot in the orchard ♥ ♥
One of my favorite memories was walking barefoot in our apricot orchard. That was years ago, and it's still one of the first things that comes to mind when searching my life's memories.
It is unbearable for me to think about my beautiful orchard and the many others that surrounded it now only exist in my memory -- long ago replaced by houses. I prefer to keep those images in my mind as if it were only yesterday...
It's a beautiful summer morning, I'm 12 years old, outside my cat Peewee (a big yellow tabby with a bobbed tail) greets me. I head straight out into the orchard. The branches overhead hang low and heavy -- and the sweet smell of apricots fill the air. Running faster and farther with each step -- the seemingly never-ending rows of trees stretch out before me. I can feel the warm sun on my face and the cool feel of the dirt under my feet. ~
"Difficult times have helped me to understand better than before how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever."

I love that bike basket! I would think of trading my car for that... and think how skinny I would be.. plus worries about fuel cost hikes.
It is charming but it must be hard to park securely when you are running your errands in town. But I can see why you felt under its spell.
Well Kim, I think you may have found the one real drawback. Thanks for visiting.
That is one form of transportation i've never seen before, cute anyway. love the post on mother :)

I know. It's a cute idea but most likely impractical - I also noticed the high heels - obviously worn for the shoot.
Thanks for visiting.

Yes, I do believe this is New York - they must have closed down a city block for the shoot.
I laughed out loud when I read your comment. It is a cute photo - anyhow.
