Bambu

_
_
Look for the name Bambu!!
_
Bambu is not a Bamboo company rather a renewable ideas company. Their products are made from bamboo that is sustainably harvested and free of fertilizers and pesticides. Bambu works only with manufacturing partners who demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, environmental protection and fair labor practices. 100% organically-grown bamboo, non-toxic water-based adhesive, natural lacquer (derived from the cashew nut tree), food-safe polyurethane.
_
I love all their products - from the "Natural Utensils" and "Lacquerware" - to the single use disposable "Veneerware" which bio degrades in 4 - 6 months!!
_
Products can be found at many retail locations such as Crate and Barrel, Dean and Deluca, Ralphs, and Whole Foods or on-line via Branch, or Organic Rush.

Hi Sabina, those products are fantastic, there are so many exciting alternatives to be found, thank for posting these. I love your pledge. In 2003 I went back to university after 20 years and now have a masters in Equality Studies, I am working with the Travelling community (a minority group who are this year asking the Irish government to acknowledge them as an Ethnic Minority)as a Community worker since 2006. Racism and discrimination are unleased on this nomadic group from every corner. Best of luck with your work and it is wonderful to know that even though we are thousands of miles away from each other, we share a belief in the rights to equality for all. hugs Margie.
