I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I spent part of my time at the hospital with my 8 year old son having a (glow-in-the-dark) cast put on his left arm. In all the excitement and fun he fell in our front yard and broke a bone in his wrist. It isn't too bad, but required a cast. When the Dr. told him he needed to leave it on for 3 weeks he exclaimed, "That's 21 days!!" So I had to feature him in today's post and tell him what a brave and funny guy he is.
_I love you Andy!! Your the cutest ever!!

Oweee - hope he is out of that cast soon - good math skills.
Andy...that cast sounds pretty cool. I've never even heard of one that glows in the dark. You will be back to normal in no time. Did you know that when a broken bone mends it is actually stronger that it was before the break?
It's true! That's what my doctor told me when Webster broke my tibial plateau (my left knee) by running full speed ahead and slamming it with his hard head 5 years ago. I feel your pain even though I didn't need a cast.
All the best, Rosemary
Oh, poor guy...he's adorable and hope it heals quickly! Thanks for offering to post on CCC - I so appreciate it!
Maybe the 21 days wont seem so long after he starts to get attention and people sign that day glow cost of his! Poor little guy!
andy, feel better! we are sorry to hear you took a spill have to wear the cast for 21 days - how many days is it now? 19? may the time go quickly but enjoy the extra attention... : )

Glow in the dark? Cool!
Oh no, I hope the next 21 days will go fast, for an 8 year old that must seem like an eternity.
